This program is designed for participants to gain the necessary skills to erect and disassemble basic scaffolding configurations to meet WorkCover’s requirements for a basic scaffolding license, as prescribed by the National Standard for Licensing Persons Performing High Risk Work.

On completion of this program participants will be able to communicate and work safely with others in the work area, planning out your work, select and inspect equipment, setting up for the task, erect, alter and dismantling of modular and prefabricated scaffolds, erection of cantilevered materials hoists with a maximum working load limit of 500 kilograms, use of ropes and gin wheels, installation of safety nets, use of static lines, erection of bracket scaffolds (tank and formwork).
